Practise 8 Analysis of a ted talk and my opinion paragraph

What’s the topic of the TED talk? What’s the main idea? When does the speaker introduce his idea? How?  

Topic: education and creativity 

Controlling idea: creativity is as important as intelligence          Public schools 

What are the means of support used by the speaker to convince us that his opinion is right? Provide examples.

4 paragraphs 

1ª full creativity and explaining the children made mistakes and it’s not a problem 

Personal experiences statidis examples 

Quotation: Pablo Picasso—abstracted art other aspect of art 

2 paragraph: educational systems are the same all around the wold which is a pity. They all have anarchy 

3 paragraph: the main aim of public education.  Academic influence there are an institution that have their rules in the 19 century. The same subjects which are essential. 

4 paragraph: Intelligence: diverse, dynamic and additional this is a fact, int    

What’s the speaker’s conclusion? How does he “conclude”?

Conclusion: summary and restated the beginning. It’s a mix of both ways of conclusion.  

Write an opinion paragraph about the video and why you agree or disagree.

Sir Ken Robinson makes many good points and many people should listen and follow his advice and opinion. I believe the conclusion he came to ought to be do it, so the educational system would be better for the children. Despite that, I hope many people would see this video and think about it. I believe this TED Talk is a great for the people who are interested in the education system and want to get it better for their children.
